The Dog at Peover is a traditional village inn dating back to 1860, tucked away in the countryside at Over Peover and around a 15 minute drive from Lapland UK Manchester at Capesthorne Hall.
It has six en suite bedrooms above a proper country pub, so you can have a hearty meal and a drink downstairs and simply head upstairs afterwards, which makes it a relaxed choice the night before or after your Lapland visit. Rooms include a flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi, and there’s free parking on site.
With only six rooms it’s a small, cosy stay rather than a big hotel, so it’s worth booking early for November and December weekends.
