Wood Fire Smoke, Macclesfield

Wood Fire Smoke is a Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzeria at The Motorworks in Macclesfield town centre, around 15 minutes’ drive from Lapland UK Manchester at Capesthorne Hall. It has been serving the town since December 2022 and explicitly welcomes families and groups.

Pizza is an easy win with children after a long, exciting day, and it’s open into the evening most days — at the time of writing it opens from midday (from 4pm on Tuesdays), so it can suit families on a later tour slot too.

If you’re staying in Macclesfield, it’s a straightforward walk from the town-centre hotels.
